Only Me In This Life Poem by Hanh My Nguyen

Only Me In This Life

Life drew me, a herdsman
Then it drew a horse
From then on, my journey was started

Life drew me in a day
Then it drew such a long night
From the on, I swore I would just play

Life drew me in an affair
With full of love, then full of jealousy
From then on, day and night, I was lonely

Life drew me, named 'a depressed' man
Because of such deep feelings
From then on, I lost, in the width of land

Only me in this life
Only me was in a time
A time of loving you, only

Saying goodbye, the green leaves and the red roses
Saying goodbye, the urban rivers
One day, I could not see them again

Everyday passed by
I dated with this wide sky...

Life drew your hair so long
Then it drew the fragrance lips, then your smile
From then on, people was happy

Life drew your heart, strange
Tough love in you, over season, endlessly
From the on, people was thoughtful, deeply

Life had given me bitterness
It would give me also, sweetness
Life was in me...

Life had given me a day
seeing the fakes of human
From the on, I felt lazy with play
