When I Forget Today Is Saturday Poem by Hanh My Nguyen

When I Forget Today Is Saturday

When I forget today is Saturday
Isn't it me always
I forget today starts a weekend
Has something had happened?

Long day I lay and sing
In the blue melody of waiting
Try a fun to think
Unfortunately I found nothing

When I forget today is Saturday
My mind says no wonder
Even any cases could come later
It surely insists 'whatever! '

I'm forgeting or trying to forget
A Saturday used to be the best
By mistake I dropp the ticket
To the joyfulness of fun

When I forget today is Saturday
Everything comes but no meanings to me
Blinding is what myself could see
Find the purple in a cup of coffee

Hiding the sky by the bitter in each taste
Anger is all I want it to fade
Memory isn't is
If I can erase unforgetable dates

When I forget today is Saturday
I carve my mind only a phrase
In a burning summer time
Dying to believe that's a chance

Saturday has left in me
Lasting it runs so slowly
Realizing me so selfish
Just one thing I have never kidded
...that 'Are you sure you got it all? '

PS: ('No, I don't forget it's Saturday, it's our date-day! But you do. And it makes me to get sulk, full of sulk! ')
