The Cup Of Wine Poem by Hanh My Nguyen

The Cup Of Wine

You gave me a cup of wine
I made it the vintage
The wine was full of dreams for desire
A great flow of passion in time

The ferment in your eyes
I put it in the cup
The fragrance of my breath
Had become the heavy wine

I put more in the cup
The extract of my soul
Wine smiled why so twinkly bright
Like the eyes of the blue sky

Oh! The deep-affectioned cup of wine
From the dawn of living time
Pour till unlimited
Of the blowing life

I again brought up the cup
Please you try! a sip of wine
Hey dear! ! Do not drink it all
It is so drunk you would die!
