One Night Poem by Edwina Reizer

One Night

One night, one night
We seek each other.
But when it's finished
Do we seek another?

Not me, not me
I say to you.
To all the others
I've said adieu.

For they do nothing
when by my side.
They make me want
to run and hide.

But you, but you
they can't replace.
For one night my mind
cannot erase.
