One Can Tell His Poverty To The Persons Who Have The Helping Mind!
Don't tell your poverty to be known to the person
Who is not esteem even while you are emaciated with
Extreme hunger and shrinkage of blood and body fluids!
Those persons who don't have the forbearance to manage
By eating fruits and vegetables; and whatever they get,
to satiate their hunger will reveal and tell to the persons
who have the helping mind to cover up their poverty!

நேரிசை வெண்பா
வற்றிமற் றாற்றப் பசிப்பினும் பண்பிலார்க்(கு)
அற்றம் அறிய உரையற்க - அற்றம்
மறைக்குந் துணையார்க் குரைப்பவே தம்மைத்
துறக்குந் துணிவிலா தார்.78
