Old Friends Poem by Lawerence Mize, Sr.

Old Friends

Old friends
From back in the day
Kept strong together
Every year, every day

Shared the knocks
That came our way
The fun, the joy
It all came into play

The tides of time
Have touched our shores
We band together
Wait for more

United we'll stand
Till the very end
It's so damn nice
To have an old friend
