Oh Poet!
Oh Poet !
what a poet you are
if you havr given pain to other
Oh Poet!
what a poet you are
if you have not realised pains of other
You may be wise
you may be diplomat
you may be intelligent
you may be a learned
but never a poet
A poet has an integral relation
with pains and pleasure
If pain is his thorn
then pleasure is his fragrance
such a poet blossom
in the deepest darkness of sorrows.
This was an amazing piece, and I believe the key here is balance. The pain and pleasure. The muse sings for both.
Oh, so true. You have to experience something to be able to write effectively about it.
Poet observes things other don't. Pain or pleasure a poet needs to react equally to both. Nice poem. Thank yo.

Wonderful poem. A poet has to experience both pain and pleasure, to write a poem. Some poet experiences pain a lot, sometime he plays with words so beautifully that it really become difficult to analyse, whether it is his/her experience or purely imagination. Loved reading it.
