Oh! How you arrest me

Whenever you are on the beat
I have to stop and see

I think it's wonderful the way
You wear your uniform
And I need police protection, say
You'll keep me safe and warm

Take me into custody
Now you've got me sussed
Do anything you want to me
Strip search me if you must

I'm a law-abiding man
I'll do just what you say
And if you have to rough me up
Well, that'll be okay

Question me the whole night through
I've got heaps of time
I'll admit to loving you
But that's my only crime

Oh! How you arrest me
