Of A Lights Out Night
out of the blue...whooom
power cut
darkness eats up the room
hot air attacks my flushed skin
i close my eyes and wish
to be somewhere else
peharps the north pole
lying on the bed, annoyed and bored
i slowly count to ten
as sweat drenches my shirt
why? why? why?
suddenly a whoosh
and the air condition comes on
everything comes alive around me
a tiny giggle and then a laugh
the power was back on
