like the sound of the rain
like the smile of a baby
so is my love for you
gentle, soft, beautiful
innocent, shy yet unafraid
calm, pursuesive, powerful
my love is like a winding road
unending like the staircase to heaven
it is always right, never wrong
never judgemental, never greedy
it conquers all evil, faces all obstacles
my love for you never fails
its a miracle, a prayer come true
its like an eagle in flight,
strong, soaring high
i am never afraid when am with you
for if our wings are worn and we fall
we shall rise up
and fly again
