Now I Seek Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Now I seek
Wednesday,8th April 2020

I failed to live
real life and behaved
like never dying creature
life was not assured

I dreamed beautifully
and led successfully
with all pleasures
but missing real treasure

when it was needed to have rest
I followed unreasonable quest
I quenched no thirst
but ran made at first

what could have I done?
and gone
to the extent of self contentment
but failed to pursue at present

Life has shown me up and down
but that remained unknown
till I was thrown out of favor
and now seek it to reoccur
