In this beautiful world
Nothing lasts forever
The sweet sound of rain
And the shine of the river
As it flows down wards
Will not return back ever
In this beautiful world
No one will forever rule
Born into royalty or may
Be taught in a great school
Time will play its game
To the death it will surely pull
In this beautiful world
We are travelers of sorts
We stay here as tenants
In palaces, homes and huts
And till the final call makes
End to all the ifs and buts
A beautiful work on temporal life, , Thanks for the sharing.
An excellent thought provoking poem. The cycle of life continues forever. We may be here temporarily in this physical body. The soul lives in eternity.
Beautifully penned. Mortality is the essence of all things in this life. Wisdom spilled on the page. Worth reading!
Nothing is permanent and eventually everything will perish. What matters is the end result. Nice poem Full *****
