Not Understanding

If I'm supposed to be flying
Why do I feel I'm sinking

If I'm supposed to be soaring through the sky
Why do I feel like I'm being dragged across the ground

Say I'm loved
But by whom

Say I'm cared for
Does it show

Say I've got so many friends; it's crazy
But we just don't hang out

Say I got a schedule with no openings
For what

Great write and I love the Questions. I do understand. Remember too... that we do not need a mountain of friends, we just need a couple who are true. Well done (Report) Reply

Poem of the Day

poet Wilfred Owen

All sounds have been as music to my listening:
Pacific lamentations of slow bells,
The crunch of boots on blue snow rosy-glistening,
Shuffle of autumn leaves; and all farewells:
