Not To Admire So Many Flowers Poem by Hebert Logerie

Not To Admire So Many Flowers

Rating: 5.0

Lilly, you told me not to love so many flowers
I can't help it, but that's where I find happiness
I'm profoundly sorry for committing so many errors
And blunders that bring jealousy and sheer stress.

I cannot help it. I tried, but Great God created these
Beauties for gentlemen to charm and to admire
The flowers are more gorgeous and hot like fire
Around a mid-afternoon Sunday, after the festivities.

I feel alive in the garden. I feel jubilant when they
Are passing by. I giggle, laugh and I jump on the hay
Some gently respond and others look the other way.

Lilly, I enjoy living. I don't take anything for granted
I always give you more attention. I'm solely motivated
By peace, love, poetry, style, and a beautiful matinee.

How charming and delightful, this love for flowers, perfumed beauties of our world. How beautifully set and written this poem is, with the love and enjoyment of the better things in life that bring joy to us all! We too, feel alive in the poet's garden. Just lovely feelings are born, when we read such sincere words, so naturally and well conveyed. A pearl of a poem, for happiness is made.
