Not inclined
Monday,24th August 2020

It was compulsion too
in our relation
as he was not inclined to share
the secrets of life and dare

we were moving together
and proved loyal in the eyes of others
there was no bone of contention 
but an equal desire for the good relation

I proposed to him, again
to relieve my pain
and maintain the dignity of loving partners
he hesitated, firm to offer

is this the way we are staying together?
I took an immediate decision here 
"Will we be staying permanently"?
I asked, but he failed to reply

the road lay open 
the response was not all of sudden 
it made me rethink 
and put ink for an independent course
