How could you be so selfish?
focused on pain that brought you grief
How could I just stand by?
Choosing to not want to believe
if only I could
I'd help in anyway
no such desire came over me
couldn't you have fought?
did these eyes not show you passion
Were you too stubborn to allow
darkness to blind you?
feel the beat of my heart
let it be the answer
when you're at a loss with questions
no fear to man can solve
but when the mind is paralyzed
Everything else seems to follow
A one way road with no way out
