Nobody Poem by Marcquiese Burrell

Nobody

yes the records breaking when the needle skips
and this very trip will have been the last
the ship will always take a hit
where an iceberg will collide
Ain't no mechanic who can fix
any of the damages
Seems you've become confused
Thinking what was on the horizon
was meant for you, not I
When it was my cries
which asked to reveal
what wasn't good in his eyes
and it's come to me
I have found peace
you were so heavy
I've felt unease
so much better now
All I needed
was release
feels good
yes, I've cut that B***H off
no, we're not any longer friends
what time had decided
is that we've reached a dead end
all that time, you were phony
couldn't bear to be lonely
who gonna be there
when you find there is nobody?
