For all the people who live in this world
Surrounded by the roaring extensive ocean,
If a person is enjoying the enormous wealth all alone
Happily by himself without helping others is in no way
Different from a pauper who sits aloof and eats alone!

ஆர்கலி யுலகத்து மக்கட் கெல்லாம்
தானோர் இன்புறல் தனிமையிற் றுவ்வாது.10
துவ்வாப் பத்து, முதுமொழிக் காஞ்சி
