No Deposit. No Interest To Expect Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

No Deposit. No Interest To Expect

No deposit.
No return.
None should be expected.
Yet protesting many do.
To get and demand,
Without any invested interest...
Ever to have done.
But will claim they are owed,
For attempts to make...
Before it becomes too late,
And noticed...
Their attempts to make,
Adds nothing to the act...
Of being irresponsible.
Or accountable.
When that attention needed to give it,
Had long passed the time...
Due to believe dividends will be,
Theirs to receive...
Without a single effort,
Ever to have endeavored...
Expressing interest to invest,
Either concern or it witnessed to deposit.
Anywhere or at anytime,
Before or after making claims to place blame.
