Nightstalker Poem by Ken Duffy

Nightstalker

The Nightstalker, he comes
With him, comes the fear
He seeks memories, best forgotten
Locked away, safe, hidden

The Nightstalker, he comes
Thirsting for the key
His desire, to release my nightmares
Those I wish to remain buried

The Nightstalker, he comes
Unyelding in his persistence
Seeking access to painful events
His evil eye, scans my mind

The Nightstalker, he comes
I will be strong, always strong
He will not bend my mind to his will
Once more, he will leave empty handed
