Natures Symphony Poem by Ken Duffy

Natures Symphony

Standing alone at shores edge
I stare out to sea
A distant horizon enchants me
It holds me, in its hypnotic embrace

Its an embrace, I find comforting
The setting sun, the ocean smells
Rippling waves hitting the shoreline
This maritime tapestry captivates my soul

All elements have combined to create
A masterpiece of sound and vision
It is a beautiful melodic symphony
Which nature has composed for me

I am but an audience of one
In a world of billions
And nature, she plays her symphony
Only for me

And I, am a very captive audience
