Needling Touch Of Death Poem by RoseAnn V. Shawiak

Needling Touch Of Death

Listening to the fear of losing someone close and dear to
you is very unsettling and tries your temperament constant-
ly in life.

Feelings and emotions being tangled and jumbled about, mind
being struck with the tears of losing a loved one, as eyes
are flowing and filled with them.

The touch of death needling us unmercifully, taking our own
hearts and minds into a downward spiral throughout our daily
lives.

A wonder how any of us can continue living in a world of
eventual death and loss, but most of us continue to live our
lives as best we can.

Although there is an eternal void that's invaded our hearts
with their disappearance, mind constantly being reminded of
our loss.

Never finding any answers no matter how much we may try, a
solitary mystery of this earthly life that hangs on whether
or not we want to readily accept it.
