Near Extinction Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Near Extinction

Near extinction

Oh, I am not bonded fish
With will power to finish
From one end to another
As good swimmer

No restriction on movement
But lot of threats at present
Mankind kills in wanton
Even do not wait for our groom (period)

New fishes do not get born
And stand torn apart
With no new generation
There is no more excitation

We are still alive
And live
With same zeal
Under the threat real

Even sea is threatened
With depletion hastened
We may extinct in near future
The end is very much sure
