Myth Vs. Fact Poem by Mayank Mehta

Myth Vs. Fact

Myth is believed since ages,
It was created by ancient sages.
Facts are the science pages,
Through it the real world images.

Fears are spread by the myth,
They radiate just as the heat.
Every fact has a proof underneath,
It makes the known and unknown world meet.

Myth bonds us in the religious tether,
It is stable in every weather.
Facts firm freedom like flying feather,
They grow us on heath - mind like heather.

Superstitions from myth are born,
They’re innumerable like seeds of corn.
Facts enlighten minds as the morn,
And helps out thoughts adorn.

Myth was fact in the ancient times,
For the people and with it the crowd rhymes.
It was strict for kings and unripe limes,
Which dug our minds with miles of myth mines.

Myths and facts are odd in every generation,
They are particles of human mind’s creation.
Myth is said to be imagination,
And fact is the education.
