Madhematics Poem by Mayank Mehta

Madhematics

One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eights,
Are no less than an elephant’s weights.
Addition, Subtraction, Multiplication and Division,
Are longer than giraffe’s neck extension.

Square root, cube root, cubs and squares,
Aren’t easy as feeding a hare.
Statistics and probability can never done with ease,
They are stubborn and will never change even if you please.

Proportion, variation and percentage,
Given date of birth calculate age,
After an increase of 10% what would be his wage?
Difficult to solve? Please turn the page.

Quadrilaterals have four sides,
But they have more than four laws besides.
Square of a side of a square is its area,
Its same as eating square of road side food causing diarrhoea.

Algebra is the leading dictator,
We are comedians and it is the spectator.
Perpendicular, transversal and parallel lines,
Are just opposite to grape vines.

Rotational symmetry is a part of geometry,
Why does it rotate? Is the greatest mystery.
Maths is the cause of all miseries in school,
Cause it always makes us fool,

Maths is one of the important circles,
But I can’t understand even my face is of wrinkles.
But it is important for us,
Or else our life would be a fuss.

Maths is an important part of your studies,
Never forget to spread it among your buddies.
Maths doesn’t have any end point,
But every point is a starting point.
