My Love

Why is my broken heart
mended by your love
I never felt this way
when I hug you
I never imagined
an embrace like yours
so full of love, and warmth

Why do you smile like that
when I'm around
why did you mend my broken heart?
I never asked that of you
BUT I'm glad that you did
