My Forbidden Cake Poem by Jerinico Vincent Batac

My Forbidden Cake

Rating: 5.0

Empty, hurt, alone
This feeling that such i tried to supress has just merely grown
Why does it have to be this way?
Those who know how to love are put in astray
Was there a time we made such mistakes to deserve this?

Will you forbid my eyes from the things they longed to see?
Will you forbid my lips from yours and flee?
Bleeding, yes I am bleeding
Yet, still unable to condemn you for such thing
Hasn't been in your thoughts of your own importance?

A sight of you is a gaze to my Eden
A touch of you is the only thing i don't want to end
Like was a word never made for you
Since all i could think of to say when i see you is I LOVE YOU
I don't love you cause i need you
I need you cause i love you

I'm barely proper now
Why do you not reciprocate my feelings?
Why is it that you're so beautiful all i can do is stare?
Why is it that you have that smile?
That smile that melts me everytime i gaze at you
And even those eyes
Those eyes!
Those eyes that i could drown on and still seek for more

Picturing you will never justify your beauty
Despite of all
I still think of you in those dreams I don't want to wake
Was ever loving you a mistake?
Hardest part is, I then realized you are MY FORBIDDEN CAKE...
