My Dear, My Love Poem by Ankoku Gekido

My Dear, My Love

Rating: 5.0

The man I love
Who pulled me from the dark
My Aijin
Who showed me there was reason to live
Who showed me there is such thing as love
Who showed me that there is light in this cruel world
Who was sent from the gods for me to hold and protect
The man sent from the heavens above
The man I would sell my soul for
The man I would go to the deepest pits of hell for
Or the brightest part of the heavens
Just to see him smile or laugh
I would kill myself if it meant his happiness
I would torment myself even more than I already am if it meant seeing him smile
He is my all
My everything
If it were not for him
I would be dead
Or an empty shell with no emotion
For he is a God
A god sent to a poor lost soul to hold onto
To love and protect
And in return
I get my soul back
And my life back
All cause I saw this gorgeous man
And held onto him
Protecting him from the darkness of this world
And now I fear I might have to let him go one day
In order to see him happy
In order to see him smile and laugh
In order to do my duty and protect him
I fear I must let him go
And plunge my heart into darkness again
In order to uphold my duty and my desire
I dread I might have to let go of the man who is my all
And lose the light he had brought forth and lay in darkness once again
