Moonlight Poem by Bill Cantrell

Moonlight

Rating: 4.3

Moonlight, You calm the night
As a mother's lullaby
Fireflies, they come alive,
Only you know why
Majestic orb, you cast your spell,
You slowly dim the light
Lovers walking hand in hand
Nocturnal creatures come to life
With the day all things are clearly seen
Shadows have no place to hide
Enchantment fills your gentle glow,
For mystery comes from your face in the night
