sitting in darkness
surrounded by fear
drifting into thought
needing someone near

asking for reasoning
looking for why
safe but scared
seemingly happy, but still i cry

sleeping brings hope
awakeing to crushed dreams
life remains similar
but nothings as it seems

I found you, finding me
ironic and unknown
criticisms hidden
truth shown



lust
stranger
love
danger



summer memories
belonging to the care-free
summer happiness
a heart's only plea



elegance forgotten
just being real
a new dimension
is what we feel



now learning whats right
now learning how Not to care
with happiness comes work
the spotlight, you must share



unimaginable facts
lying on my dresser
next to emotions from time
the greater and the lesser



struggling with honest answers
trying to hide youth
but you see right through me
like you're some kind of sleuth



so here i am... helpless
in this game we all play
and i will remain
until i hear you say.......
