Mistyville Poem by Matt Lyder

Mistyville

Rating: 5.0

Lay down and listen to the sound
Of the morning dew falling on the ground
The world around is silent, blue and grey
Lay still and let your worries drift away
Away from Mistyville

The early morning mist will take you in
The asphalt's cool and smooth against your skin
No one will bother or disturb you here
There is no pain no sadness and no fear
Right here in Mistyville

This town is an everlasting dream
Where time always stands still or so it seems
Enveloped in the gentle ocean breeze
Give in to slumber and tranquility and peace
And stay in Mistyville
