Miss You Poem by Kelsey Martinson

Miss You

You were never
Supposed to leave me
ever
You were supposed to stay
Not be taken
Away
What am I now?
Am I expected to keep going
Somehow?
You slipped through my palm
I tried to hang on and remain
Strong
I miss you so,
Mom

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I dedicate this poem to my Mom, who was taken from me when I was three. She was very young when she passed and I love her and miss her so much, but I know that I will see her one day.
~Happy Mothers Day.
