Misery Poem by Jennifer Colyne Hall

Misery

Rating: 3.0

Misery, my affection

A love given

She left you all alone

those warm eyes

What are you thinking?

I will be there for you

as you are for me

I cradle Misery, most

people push away

You understand my thoughts

I didn't tell you yet

You listen without hesitation,

no interruptions

By my side, your promises

never broken

In the black of the night

ever so quiet

I feel Misery gently

nudge my heart

Loving me unconditionally
