Mindset Poem by Lawrence S. Pertillar

Mindset

What has infested a mindset,
To accept and believe...
An incredible build up,
Of threats no one sees.
But soon to arrive at their doorsteps.

What has infested a mindset,
To accept and receive...
Conflicts and indecision,
As if a necessity.

Who is it fooling all the people.
Using their minds to trick.
Deluding them to be duped.
And getting away with it.
Who is it fooling all the people.
People unaware of this.
But follow like sheep they do,
Believing what they hear is true.
From the mouths of trick players very slick.

Some are awakening.
Yet...
Many stay addicted to the playing of games.
Some are awakening.
Yet...
Many stay addicted to the playing of games.
Some are awakening.
Yet...
Many stay addicted to the playing of games.
Many stay addicted to the playing of games.
Many stay addicted to the playing of games.
Many stay addicted to the playing of games.
