Miles Back Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Miles Back

Rating: 2.8

Not you alone, but we all sink
Many times sit and think
What kind of this ego is?
Not allowing us to put before him

“I am great and Him self”
I have power to find treasure from shelf
I can do everything that others do
Is this wrong or true?

I wondered as it was blocked
My mind was put on alert and it worked
“No, how could it be when I have everything”?
I am able, powerful and king of kings

I have large army on the earth
I shall rule supreme till my death
“Oh death, where from this idea came?
I was brought down on land to blame

Let it come then I will see
I was still not free
Ego still ruled mind
I was captive and blind

Ego kills not only kindness
But also represents cruel face
It has nothing to do with noble work
But pushes us several miles back
