I dream of democracy
Where by the way is open to almighty
He sent us on earth as liberated souls
To do something good and respond to call

That was real essence
Today’s democracy lacks its essence
It is refined way of cheating people
Where as it has been gained after great struggle

Yes, people should have active participation
Poor and deprived should have larger say in action
Cast, creed and religion should have no place
But alas! We find it guided by consciousness of race

No work is done without bribery
Some influence is very much necessary
Political awareness is nowhere seen
In all, it is organized circus and we are helplessly in scene

Well, if that was what originally intended
It should never be thought of regretted
If entire system is polluted or put at risk
The future chances can be seen as bleak

It is purely a gimmick
Where all politician parties play trick
People’s right is claimed where ever it suits
Normal man in street is left to his fate
