Can you tell me what love is
can you show me how it works
i have been torn so badly
can you stitch me back up
if you could love me always, would you
would you give me the world
so much has been taken from me
would you live with my mistakes
If I knew love completely,
if I could hold you once more
what can you learn without
someone willing to teach
how can you love without knowing how
i've given my heart just to have it wripped to shreds
and then tossed back in my face
i threw myself at you in many different ways
but you still wouldn't take me
why?
