Lounged Around Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Lounged Around

Whirring of the Fan

The whirring of the fan meant much to me.
The effect of quietness it brought,
Meant the quietness I sought.
I lounged around the patio.

Those palm trees in my yard,
Swayed oh so gently in the wind.
The wind blew around me,
Every where I moved.
