Looking Out Into The Real World Poem by Stephanie Stamm

As I look outside my window,
I see life flash before my eyes.
As celebrities are arrested,
The enviorment is crashing,
People are taking drugs,
War happens everywhere in the world...

I concentrate on homework,
But thought pop into my mind,
Will I live my life like this,
Without any bliss,
or understanding of a new life?
Does everyone want this for us?

I look back out the window,
I go through that door,
A thunderstorm is happening, but I really don't care,
For life is flashing like lightning,
and the thunder rolls,
I didn't want this,
But I'm ready to go...
