Long Live My Winter Poem by G. Akanji Olaniyi

Long Live My Winter

Rating: 5.0

Long live my winter
That brought the glow and the splinter
Bubbles of water sparkle and shine
Under the whitened and fogged crystalline

Gone are the days of darkness
Nothing now but lightness
Happiness that heralds joy
I play with it but it is no toy

Long live your happiness
And all you love in faithfulness
It is just metaphorical
Winter is simply allegorical
