Lonely Words Poem by G. Akanji Olaniyi

Thinking of stories
But I have got to make compositions
Trying to make compositions
But I have got to do paragraphs
To do paragraphs involves joining words together
Words are not easy to come by without letters
These letters are deceptive
Often sounding different from their looks
I am only speaking lonely words
Separated from one another by me
In my tiredness and loneliness
Helped by the distance of the pen
The notes are on vacations, too
Words can never be lonelier
