Living Without You, My Angel Poem by Hebert Logerie

Living Without You, My Angel

At this hour, I am thinking of you
I find myself nailed to the cross
Of my imagination this morning
Where I feel like a moron
I, have neither the warmth of your body
Nor the wavy beat of your heart
To fill me with the eternal happiness
Far from fear and far from death.

In truth, I can't live without you
I feel dying and annihilating little by little
When your beautiful body is missing from my bed
Yes, love, I want to feel the warmth and the weight
Of your legs and your arms. You are the ink
Of my inkwell, the hope of my days
I'm waiting for you tonight to drop off the anchor
In your ocean. I love you my beautiful angel.
