Little respite
Wednesday,24th June 2020

The world was never at peace
as we see it in history pages
human beings were enemies themselves
and behaved so irresponsibly

Even God descended on this lovely earth
and met with torture and slow death
was it not the cruel and greedy nature?
that we couldn't treat well the creator!

world shall have little respite
but they shall always fight
for the supremacy or for the chunk of land
thus bringing an end to peace

it doesn't care for the flow of innocent blood
people are dying for the want of food
there is enough for the world to feed
if we shed our jealousy and greed

peace is within sight
if we follow the right path
cause no hurt or threaten lives
the world is so beautiful to live in
