Light Music Poem by Alain Ilan Braun

Light Music

Rating: 5.0

Have you ever heard
On a summer evening
The violins and the cellos sobbing?
While high in the sky
Swallows are dancing
A place where the bows on too tight cords
Are running up faster than life
Faster than death
Where grey-faced musicians
In spite of all
Smile to the children around
Where tears flow like streams
Stemming from springs
Believed to be for ever dried up
Do you hear, still,
This light music?

A jamais taries?

Aww! ! It melt my heart! Lovely poem! It reminds me of my quiet neighborhood, sometimes in the summer you could hear a violin and a piano, I also listened and watched the trees and the birds and the children's play, wow How could I forgive those? Yes, now I don't see much of such happy days.. Lovely poem, thank you for share,10.
