Life Of Wonder
Looking out across a placid lake, wanting to go swimming,
but for the time being cannot.
Looking forward to that day in the near future when able
to jump right in and swim like a fish.
Loving swimming underwater, seeing fish swimming gently
by, never bothering me at all.
A whole life of wonder below the water's surface that
this poet loves to explore and discover.
