Life In Truth Poem by Cat Windham

Life In Truth

A life of bitter sweet happiness filled with pain and lust
Is one that is known by most
The thrill of the rush, the touch of a rough hand
Is all in the world that most understand
There are those who try to dilute the meaning with their lies
This is all love and hatred, it makes your social climb
You wont have time to think, no pain to hide
For all this dulls the mind
Many people believe them and do all to rid the pain
Some turn up the bottles and try as they may
Some try drugs and succesfully numb the pain
And the rest turn to physical violence, but it is always plain
There is no relieve, there are no cures for the tears
There is no loved one to chase away your fears
None to kiss you gently, none who think you the one
They think only of their own happiness, their fun
They think nothing of the scars that litter your body, the sorrow behind your eyes
Nothing of the pain caused by their selfish lies
This is full life, this is life in all truth
A life where no one shall ever care for you
