Letters To June 23rd Poem by Ellen Rose Guilaran

Letters To June 23rd

June's almost ending
But something ended entirely
Nights like these got me thinking
Love that felt like yesterday

Don't forget me, not
The ways I've been bad
Halted to a full stop
Opportunities we could've grabbed

My house is where your heart is
And my home is where you are
I'd like you on my necklace
Because that's where you are

Place in your pockets
Carry this baby whenever
Because all I ever wanted
Was with you to be together

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
June is almost ending! But some things end, too. In hopes of moving forward, you'd like a better future but before July welcomes you, immerse yourself in this month's love energy as others are fortunate while other aren't. Emotions are better expressed when you let them out first...this is my way of letting it out.
