Let God Remain One Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

Let God Remain One

Let God remain one

Not a single religion is intact
We find diversion in fact
Some stick with original emergence
Rest accept modification or changes

How many people world over profess?
Different religions
Still live with peace side by side
Why then there is spurt in violence and divide?

It is not for us to involve
But try to evolve
With accepted form of non interference
With their belief and practices

Not religious festivals fall on same day?
Sometimes they may coincide on particular day
It adds beauty with religious fervor
It should not be bone of contention with peace order

One thing is found to be certain
The god is there and only one
the dictates are there to follow
Without murmur and smoothly be allowed
