Leave Me When I Am Away Poem by Hebert Logerie

Leave Me When I Am Away

Leave me when I am away
Love me when I am near
That's fine, I am not dear
To you, when I cannot spray
Kisses on your cheeks.

This is a shame that we are not full-timers
I heard and read all of the rumors
Some are allegations hidden in creeks
Some are truthful testimonies
Many are told by slick dummies
Real friends do not lie
They tell the truth and die.

Leave me alone, go away
Follow the sunset, let me play
Let me live my life
I will never be with a wife
Who lies days and nights
I have rights, many rights
Like you do
Like you.
