Kites Poem by Jaipal Singh

Kites

The kites of all shapes and sizes
Are soaring over the city skyline
A sizzling enthusiasm of kite-flyers
Dazzling display of colours and shine...

I get nostalgic of my early village life
Those cheerful moments of kite flying
Competing with the neighboring kids
Fun and frolic of sharing and playing.
